‘Turtle: The incredible Journey’ is a documentary by National Geographic explorer Nick Stringer. The documentary is distributed by SeaWorld Pictures. The adventure takes us to turtle world, especially the loggerhead turtle which is a threatened species. We are given in detail of its migratory patterns that are distinct and the most difficult among any marine animal. The opening of the turtles is at the beach of Florida where the turtles hatch. The journey with them continues as they move into the sea struggling themselves past their predators and breaking waves out to the calm water. The camera moves along the creatures 50 miles non stop when they finally get hooked up on patches of seaweeds which will finally afford them their first living sleep. The film is narrated by Academy Award nominee Miranda Richardson. Nick Stringer and his camera crew have spent two years following loggerhead turtles on their trips across the ocean. They have captured on film the remarkable life cycle of the amazing creature. The documentary is bought out by Hannover House.
